International Women's Day: Our Bodies Their Borders online event 8th March 6.30pm
Join Artist Bernadette Hopkins as we prepare to celebrate International Women's Day on 8th March 2022 and experience an open discussion around the impact of borders on women and the role of art and activism. Her performance, ‘Our Bodies Their Borders’ explores the border between Derry in Northern Ireland, and Donegal in the Republic of Ireland. It's part memory, part an acknowledgement of every day life along the border - where the body acts as border and interrogates the daily act of crossing and 'breaking’ the border.
